Information on the Rebrands Above
Athans Coffee Roasters
A small company based in Mississauga,, we started working with Athans to create their new line Javaworks. While in the process the director decided he wanted to create a stronger corporate logo for the mother company. In the rebranded logo there was to be no stereotypical imagery such as coffee beans but he wanted to stay true to the
original design. The final rebrand has a fresh colour palette and font family, but still stays true to the style of the original.
CLAC - Christian Labour Association of Canada
Founded in 1952 CLAC is one of Canada's largest and progressive Labour Unions in Canada.
As a part of the changing demographic of Canada CLAC, a union with Christian values, wanted to develop a more modern image. Part of the rebrand involved the organization focusing on the acronym
C-L-A-C and less on the word clac. BY doing so the intent was so allow consideration for the meaning of the initials.
The rebrand was intended to have a bipartisan and progressive image, with strong diagonals leading to the CLAC logo,
representing the leading position the union took, as well as the forward thinking relationships it builds with both workers and employers.
Naturmed by Cristina D.
An Italian made professional skin care line, Naturmed required a new image stressing its natural ingredients. As well as rebranding the logo we created a new packaging line along with patterns (based on the rebrand) which both build on the image of the brand, but also allow for creative marketing.
Vision Screw Products
A rivet and screw manufacturer in Mississauga, Vision Screw Products (VSP) wanted to rebrand their company to be more in line with their products. The more glaring problems with the original logo is its depiction of a wood screw, a product line not in the VSP catalogue.
Basing the new design on the interesting shapes created by their sophisticated
machinery, the new logo represented a more modern manufacturer as well as a more sophisticated product line.
Trendco Enterprises
Producing VOC compliant paints (for both industrial and commercial applications) as well as faux finishes, Trendco wished to clean up their logo to reflect the more eco-friendly nature of their products. Playing on both a leaf, a drop of paint, and the T, the rebrand moved the companies image in the desired direction.
Cristina D.
A long established Canadian line of spa products, Cristina D. wished to update the Brand to reflect the expanded line of products (creams, nail polish, waxes) but still stay true to the original design.
The rebrand allowed for the elements to "flourish", with the introduction of colour, a new font, and the more floral design.
V7 Consumer Electronics
A simple "facelift" for the entry level electronics brand from Ingram Micro. While unable to change the logo (as the brand is worldwide) the marketing team in Mississauga wished to create less dated feel for the brand to respond to emerging trends. The rebranding, although simple, creates a more elegant feel and moves the consumer away from the "Video Seven" origin of the line.
